Well, little buddy had his 1 year check up today. He is still "growing like a champ."
His stats are:
24 lbs - 70th percentile
32 inches long - 95th percentile
47.5 head circ. - 75th percentile
He had to get 5 shots, poor guy. He didn't cry too long though. Daddy got to come with us today for the first time. It was kind of nice. I didn't get all nervous for buddy when shot time came around cause I let Kenny kinda take charge and he stayed by buddy during the check up and then held him for the crying after the shots.
Malias is becoming quite the little jabber box. He especially seems to enjoy "talking" to strangers. Checkers at the store checkouts, waiters/waitresses, people at church. He will just go on and on to any of them. Its like he is trying to tell them his life story or something.
I am listening to him jabber softly to himself right now in his crib as he puts himself to slee. . .
. . . . . . . .
Well, I WAS listening to him softly jabber as I wrote that until it quickly turned to loud crying like he was in pain. . . which means one thing. He has gotten his leg stuck between the crib bars again. And he had. His poor little foot was all twisted and stuck as he was trying to pull it back.
Silly baby.
I held him a moment and put him back down which made him sad for a minute but he is fine now. I am so glad he can put himself to sleep. He is such a great little boy.
Well, I am going to go snuggle up on the couch to watch a movie with my awaiting hubby. He is enticing me with soft kisses. Oooh, I love my handsome boys so much!!!
