Temple Lights

We took a trip to the Washington DC Temple with the Crowes to see the lights.
First we had a quick dinner together and then set out to the Temple. Malias ended up riding up with the Crowes so our car was pretty quiet, since Efton just slept the whole way, he he.
We got into the Visitors Center just as they were seating for a little performance and got to see "Bells at Mt. Vernon- Handbell Choir." It was pretty neat to me. I had fun listening to them play. I felt bad for Kenny who had to leave with our un-interested and un-cooperative two year old...but, such is life.
After that we walked around outside, looked at a large nativity scene and all the pretty lights and then it was time to go home to put our babes to bed.

Overall it was fun but Malias can be quite a handful at times. Some days he is just his sweet little self that we've known his whole life and then some days it is tantrum after tantrum, after tantrum. That night was the tantrum kinda days. Its all the normal two year old stuff, but as all you parents know, it sure does add an element of "fun" to outings.

Anyways, here are some pics of the night. :)

I can totally sympathize with the tantrums that is how nathan's been a lot lately. It's driving me nuts, gotta love 2 and 3 year olds =) I love your family picture in front of the temple.

Ha! I found your blog from Sommer's. :)

We still haven't done the DC thing. And I can TOTALLY empathize with the tantrums. We've been wondering where our sweet little Seth went lately. Hopefully we'll both make it through this!
