We are ALIVE!

Well, I guess that nearly month long vacation just derailed me from the blogging world! And just when I was starting to get better at it (again) too!

I am ready to start again with more regular updates...even if only 3 people really look at my blog...Ha ha! Just kidding...i know there are at least a few silent readers too. :)

I am not going to back track...just cause it makes me overwhelmed and I don't want to... SO, some recent happenings...

I got to make a "wedding" cake for a Relief Society program and while I was doing the fondant Malias asked if he could make a cake too. I gave him a ball of fondant and he went right to work and made himself a "weddings cake" and was letting me know that his friends would be coming soon so we could sing Happy Birthday to him and I needed to take pictures of him with his cake at the table (just like we do for real B-days). It was pretty cute.

I still see lots of flaws...but I am getting better every time...and I think its probably not too bad considering its only like my 3rd wedding cake. And its fun anyways!!

We did gingerbread house decorating last Friday as a family, which was pretty fun. We got to munch on M&Ms and other candies while we decorated and they thought that was great. I tried hard not to let my perfectionist side take over while we went.....and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Efto is sure to get any food he eats into his hair lately...its so lovely! ha ha
