Things I love

A little about me...for fun.

Here is just a fun little list of Products I love and use to get ready for the day.

Suave Professionals. (rosemary MINT) Smells divine.
I love this Shampoo and Conditioner.

I have a SIL who is a beautician and she once told me that while she was in school to become a beautician, they did testing on PH(?) or acidity levels in different Shampoo brands. She said that one of the worst ones for your hair was Pantene ProV and one of the better ones was Herbal Essence. I cant remember for sure where Suave was but I thought it was one of the better ones for your hair.
I DO know that I used the expensive salon brands for a long time, my favorite being BIOLAGE(rosemary MINT) and it always left my hair feeling clean and soft, but it's SO expensive. I just can't justify it. Then I turned to Suave professionals. And honestly I cannot tell a difference. My hair feels softer and healthier than ever. And it is only a few dollars a bottle! LOVE IT!

Conair Curling Iron 3/4 inch

This for me is as good as any super expensive curling wand/iron. I use this at least a few times a week. And they last a couple years and do a very good job at curling my hair. I love the curls I get, and I get a lot of compliments on my hair all the time
*The trick to great wave curls from a curling iron is to wrap your hair around the wand starting close to your head then slowly twisting and moving down the piece of hair.
For me is is much faster to curl my hair than to round brush or straighten. Takes me about 10 minutes and looks like I spent a long time on it. LOVE IT!

ChapStick - classic
I have about 8 of these... at least. My lips get dry often and I can't live without ChapStick. I have tried many, many different kinds, but this brand keeps my lips softer, longer. And it has to be classic, or maybe the moisture one...but NEVER a flavor one. Those make me gag. Yuck!

Dove hairspray. Extra Hold.

I don't use hairspray all the time, but when I want a little volume and hold I love this stuff. My hair does not stay well, usually, but this stuff actually keeps the volume in for hours!! its sooo awesome. LOVE IT!

 Neutrogena Mineral Sheers

I hate wearing makeup. I love this powder. Simple as that. This gives light coverage, evens/covers redness but feels like its not there. It seems like it helps me not break out too, which is always a good thing. It comes with a little pad but I use a foundation brush to apply it. I feel like I use less and cover more that way.

Last Blast Fusion

This mascara is my absolute favorite. I used to try all different kinds but this one I keep using again and again. It doesn't go on heavy (remember how I hate makeup?). Because of the rubber wand it goes on very even. It looks and feels natural, but still makes my eyelashes more visible, which makes me feel like I look fresh and awake.

Falsies Volume Express

Sometimes, like if I'm going out with friends or on a date or just because... I will use this BEFORE I use my lashblast. This can a little clumpy, but it really does seem to multiply the look of my lashes and make them really noticeable. I apply the lashblast over this to spread out my lashes for a more natural look.

Magnifier Tweezers

These are so nice to have. They make plucking those little eyebrow hairs sooo easy. Although I don't use the magnifying glass for that. (That is more for tweezing a sliver---which also works awesome-ly) This is a super handy tool. LOVE IT!

Neutrogena Oil-free makeup remover

This is my favorite for removing eye makeup. It just works so gentle, but fast. And it lasts forEVER!

 Neutrogena Face wash (redness reducing)

I used to use their creme wash...but I would still break out more than I'd like. Then I started using this. I LOVE this. I have so much less redness in the mornings after washing with this and my face feels clean and soft. I have had fewer breakouts with this than I did while using ProActiv.

I am ALL for cheaper, yet effective products!
