Chapel Hills Nursery/Farm

We took a little day trip to Chapel Hills Nursery/Farm the other day.
It was a fun little trip and the weather was so nice. Not really humid, but warm in the sun and cool in the shade. So nice!

This guy kept putting his head out through the fence, and at first when we saw him we were sure he had to be stuck! We were thinking we need to get someone to help him when we turned around and he was back in the pen. Then we saw him maneuver in and out. It was quite an impressive thing to watch.

This little goat was walking around outside of the pens and came up and stood behind Efton without him knowing. I told him to look behind him and when he did,  he jumped did a fast double take and then booked it over to me. It was pretty funny. He kept saying it was "scary" after that.
I wish I would've caught the surprise on his face...you cant really tell from this photo.

They had a Huge wooden ship, a school bus and a truck for kids to play on. And for my School bus/Truck/Car lovin boys...it was heaven! They loved it.
Well, all the kids loved it. Who wouldn't?

That's his growling/bus noise, face.

They got to feed the animals spaghetti.
This is my niece, Abby.

I love horses...but I don't know any technical terms or names for them.
I do know these two horse were HUGE! I wanted to get a picture of one of the boys near them but Malias couldn't care less while the fun wood toys were just behind us and Efton was terrified of getting closer than 20 of them.

I kinda want to frame this one.

Swings up on the ship.

They had a nice pond with big fish. That was a hit as well.

Random tin man near the pond..

Pretty pond.

Tractor....Efton thought this was about the best thing there! LOL

Green House flowers. Pretty!

The ship.
It had a sign that said "Play at your own risk."
The biggest reason for that (in my opinion) was the ramp. It was as slick as wood can get. Those poor kids...I am surprised no fell down it or off!!

They also had miniature ponies.

It was a fun laid back way to spend a couple hours. I am so glad someone suggested it!
