When thigh meets Dogs mouth

You get this....

Lucky for me the bite was through my jeans...so it wasn't too bad.

I went to pick up a sitter from her house and got about half way up their drive way when their two large dogs came to greet me. I put up my hand from my side slowly to let them smell me (like I always do to other peoples dogs) and without warning one dog started biting me!

It happened very fast and really shocked me!

I got a few teeth mark bruises way up on my right thigh, this large scrape bruise, and a hole in my left pant leg, but no marks on my left leg. Too bad they were my only expensive pair of jeans...sigh.

There were no holes or marks on my right pant leg, so I thought I was fine. The mom/owner sincerely apologized and I know it was just a dog protecting its property.

I just kept thinking "That really hurt."

When I got home it still hurt pretty bad and I felt a bump, so before I left I looked at my leg. It was a large bump filling with blood. Since it didn't really break the skin all the blood from the blunt trauma was pooling under the skin.

I actually thought how funny the whole thing was. How random to be bit by a dog.

Then I had to go do a photo session and it hurt the whole time. lol

Ok, I am weird...but it really is pretty funny to me.

I took this pic a few days after so it looks better than it first did.

Now I just have a small outer ring and some hard lumps under/around the scrape. Is that normal? Anyone know?
