The party

We had a really nice day on the 19th.

We invited some good friends and the Crowes, of course for a little celebration for Efton's first birthday.

I was trying to just keep it really simple...

But I am happy with how it all turned out.

And of course, I had to try my hand at another fondant cake... They may not be great but I have a lot of fun making them! :D

 I forgot to cover the cake round...oops!

I made the banner... I think it turned out pretty cute.

Kenny thought a pinata would be fun, so we had one, and I think it was a hit!  We ended up with around 15 or so kids along with their parents.

Unfortunately I forgot to get pics of ANY of the other kids...oops. I am horrible at taking pictures on special occasions.

At least I got one (blurry) one of the birthday boy. Don't you love the look on their faces?! lol

Kenny has a goal to have one of our kids blow out their first birthday candle. So far he has taught them to "blow" quite well... just not well enough to blow out a flame. Either way I think its way cute.

And this is one of my FAVORITE faces Efton makes. It is usually followed by an "Oh!"
