We had a good 4th this year.

We went to the Crowes for food and fireworks like last year and like last year, they did not disappoint!
They always have yummy food and an awesome firework show! Who need stadium of fire when you got Josh and Charles??
I brought my super yummy fruit tarts which to my surprise, were quite looked forward to, by many. :)

Malias was a crazy little monkey when it came time for the fireworks. He was running/dancing around like a happy little leprechaun who just found his lost pot of gold.... or something like that. :D
He just loved it! It was pretty cute.

It was Efton's first time seeing the fireworks this year and he seemed to like them overall. When the big ones were going off he'd kinda squint like he was worried something was going to get into his eyes...which in all honesty could have happened considering we were literally right underneath them! ha ha.

We started off the day going to a little town parade. Malias really like that too. They had lots of fire trucks interspersed throughout the whole thing which was great for us! Malias was in heaven.
During the parade a few of the participants threw candy to him, and soon he was asking others as they'd pass "Do you have candy for me?"
It was pretty cute.

Typical Efto face... at least for the camera. :D

Showing me his sticker he got.

Just more of Efton being himself. :D

Towards the end Efton got the hang of the waving and saying "hi" or "Ha" as he says. he he

Cool fire truck

This just shows the narrow little road the parade was on, of course lined with huge trees!

Now onto evening pics

 Isn't this baby so handsome!?
I hate to be one to brag, but really...he just is. lol

As the first few fireworks went off Malias was in awe. He is saying "wow" in the pic.

A shot of the whole set up. The two in the front, our pyro technicians and the crowd below....20 feet behind.
Genius ward friends thought to put the orange cones up which helped a ton with the kiddos! Last year it was all we could do to keep them from standing right next to the launching place.

Efton watching his first fireworks.
