Halloween Time

Trying out their Costumes...

 They picked them out this year and they LOVED them. They would beg to wear them multiple times a day in the leading weeks up to Halloween....and I let them. That is until the costumes got a small tear each..then I put them away until we needed them.

We went to the Ward trunk or Treat right after picking up Grandma Long from the airport on the 27th...

(We were so excited to have her here!!)

 I threw on this costume (it was made by my mom 20 years ago probly) last minute. I wasn't going to dress up but then I just couldn't NOT! It would have been the first time in my whole life!!!

 The boys were a little overwhelmed and confused for the first many cars.

I had to post this one of Efton, because his half closed eyes.

I call Efton Kenny's mini since he looks most like him and has SOOO many of the same mannerisms. Like often taking half closed eye pictures. lol

The night before Halloween we carved pumpkins.

The boys really enjoyed it this year and Kenny slept on the couch like usual, lol. Just Kidding...well, sort of. he helped/carved Efton's THEN slept on the couch. :)

Luckily Grandma Long was helping. She helped carved Malias' for him even though she doesn't usually like to, and did such a good job!

Malias' is the ghosts, then the middle two I did (since Kenny wouldn't) And the right one is Efton's.

Then Kenny and I left for our date! He had suprised me with tickets to Wicked! 

I was SOOO excited! And totally shocked that he did that!

We were actually supposed to go on the 30th, but because of the hurricane it was canceled. We were SO blessed that Hurricane Sandy didn't end up going directly over MD. We didn't even lose power. my heart and prayers go out to those in NJ and NY who have lost so much.

I LOVED it! I am so lucky (for getting to go and for this handsome guy)!
